Where are the hardcore games at?

Eliminate, Exo-Planet Free and Archetype are out but I want more hardcore games with updated retina graphics. Is there anything else that I can play until the next gen games get released with gamecenter?

Jet Car Stunts is a hardcore game with great graphics. An update has been submitted with Retina Display.

What does hardcore even mean? As far as I can tell, that's just a word for shooters with good graphics. If that's what you want, go play your xbox.

Try the "what should I get" thread next time.

Hardcore as in difficult and obscure or hardcore as in FPS with retina display?

This would be like buying a DS and asking
where are the hardcore games at?

I mean, sure there are some. But I emphasize the word "some." Obviously, there are overall more games available for the iphone that I would call hardcore then games available for the DS, but marketshare wise, it's probably about the same. The iphone/ipod touch are just not hardcore gaming machines. They are casual gaming machines. I treat MY ipod touch pretty hardcore, granted, but I'm not really Apple's target audience here.
