Hello there
This thread is a retrospective look to how the TA forums came to be and the members that helped shaped it. Some great founding members have left but they possibly still lurk and just check the info lamenting at what could have been. Others have stayed and despite numerous frustrations have kept on keeping on to the significant benefit of the forums. Despite the motivations it is not the platform that makes the TA forums great but the people behind it. That includes the Mods, the SP Officers and even the lowly Janitor. This thread is to flush out some of the great threads (and banters) of previous times and to give a shout out to the good, the bad (and the crazy Nazi ) crew that help shape this awesome forum.Let's tip our respective hats to those that have come before me and thank you for helping shape a kick ass forum ![]() Ps. If you are indeed an old member and lurking and want to post by all means come back. Just post to those you want to and avoid the rest of us

No. The old ones are not holier-than-thou.
The times back then are the times gone. Now is now. tA forum lives, breathes, develops in different ways. We all are tA's breath of life. No need to split the members between old and new. Putting people into factions will always divide them. Every single member without bad intentions is important. Nothing else matters.

Is this supposed to make us old members feel old?

I remember when we had an active social group consisting of almost all the mods. It was nice being able to converse with those guys so freely.

Do you reckon there was a deliberate move to cut that out or it just kinda dissolved?
