Old but Gold: September 2008

I'd like to kick off a series of posts that look back at games that were released in a certain timespan.

You can have downloaded the game at any time but it must have been first released inside the dates.

You must check the dates using AppShopper before you post.

Hopefully long-time owners get to look back at their history and re-discover good stuff while new owners can see the store has more to offer than they might think.

So, for this first thread and to see if it works, what are the good games that were released in the store on or before 30 September 2008.

Of all those in the archives

Frotz is my pick though Line Rider iRide is close.

If you haven't read the archives but want to see the prices and the first Zen Bound video, head on in.

I think Freeverse's Moto Chaser holds up very nicely today. There's nothing quite like it, and it's simple enough to pick up and go. Like a little Road Rash for your phone. Totally worth the dollar they're asking. I think I paid five bucks for it.
