Well not everything. Think of it as a combination relative to time, market demand, and in some cases (not all) desperation. For some, it's an opportunity to build and grow mindshare. For others, it's a way to test the market to determine if an app is still viable or if it's time to move on to another project.

Then why not edit the link out then... ?

Just noticed the price drop myself, nice.

@donburns, suggestion implemented.

Everyone move along, nothing to see here. SimCity isn't a worthy d/l even at $.99. It is plagued with problems that cast a shadow of shame on the true SimCity. And they charged us early adopters $9.99 for a broken game, when we asked that elements of the game be fixed so the game would be functional after a month and a half you know what they gave us?......a price drop to $7.99. Boo.

Really? Werent they supposed to release a patch last december? I always wanted to pick up this title. I suck at simcity but always wanted to get better. Plus it seemed like a complete game, something the appstore lacks.

Any other opinion? Im on the fence guys!

Typical of big publishers. They're probably too busy working on The Sims to care, and it worries me. Relying on people TOFTT'ing and price drops to make a profit seldom builds a reputation. They should learn a lesson from the smaller devs like Bolt Creative.
