So I've been having a hankering for some good roguelikes on the iPhone.
I already have Sword of Fargoal and 100 Rogues and was looking at The Isle of 8-Bit Treasures. Does anybody have any suggestions for good roguelike games or other dungeon crawlers? |

Undercroft is a dungeon crawler/rpg in the same first person, turn-based style as Eye of the Beholder. Doom 2 RPG and Wolfenstein RPG are also similar.

Huge fan of dungeon crawlers here as well.. have Isle of 8-bit Treasures... easy to pick up and play, but doesn't have the depth of any of the others.. and expect to meet death much more than in the sadistic (but I deal with it) 1000 Rogues.
Edit: Never heard of Mazugs either - just took a look on iTunes.. think I'll pass... looks like one type of enemy and not much depth (and old ZX Spectrum game apparently), though I like the looks of it. Last edited by JCat; 08-10-2010 at 05:49 PM.. |

P.S. There are two iPad exclusives I can think of: Sword of Fargoal Legends & NetHack HD
