The best bang for the buck is probably N.O.V.A which is on a $0.99 sale.

It has a healthy online community so multiplayer is cool. Think of NOVA to iPad is what halo is to xbox, although I think the controls are hard for precision but that's pretty much a flaw of the iPad itself.

It plays great

I can honestly say I haven't had Andy issues with the control interface for Nova on the iPad. You can customize the virtual controls to suit your liking. I play multiplayer on the iPad more than I did when I just had the iPhone version.

I think there was a misunderstanding, I said the controls were hard for precision not hard in general. Basically, you won't be getting a high number of headshots but you can still be quite efficient at getting kills. Catch my drift.

Have just played a some of the signal player of N.O.V.A and so far it seems pretty solid .

After using a computer keyboard and mouse for FPS's it is a bit tricky at first using the touch screen , but it has potential

I will give the multi player a go after a few more rounds of solo play .
