As for Mahjong Elements HD. Enjoy it? Nah... love it! It's an exemplary example of what happens when a great design team focus on producing a classic game. There may be others but they were all deleted after I started playing this. My fiancee loves it too and now it's a source of contention as we vy for the solitary iPad...

I find it strange that FDG's Mahjong game for the iPhone Mr. Mahjong Touch is $4.99 plus multiple sets of in-app purchases, yet this iPad version is the same price of $4.99 with no in-app purchases with 50 hours of gameplay. Does Mahjong Elements HD have more content included in the $4.99 price than Mr. Mahjong Touch? If so, then will Mahjong Elements be ported to the iPhone? I would much rather have a full game with 50 hours of gameplay than a game with in-app purchases (unless Mr. Mahjong Touch already has that many hours of gameplay without buying add on packs).

Hopefully FDG can stop by here and clarify.

Actually, we are already working on a Mahjong Elements port for iPhone, iPod touch. (with Retina support). Mahjong Elements is heavily based on Mr. Mahjong but comes with an all new interface and arts. It includes all in app purchase content (layouts) from Mr. Mahjong.

There is no release date for Mahjong Elements on iPhone yet, maybe October. Mr. Mahjong Touch has about 20-25 hours playtime without the inapp purchases.
