App description: Battle for Rebirth is an action packed 3D martial arts game. You are Gin, and desperately want to leave your gang, but your gang has other ideas. You need to fight for your life; which could end very soon if you make the wrong moves. Click "More" to learn why you should download this App today!

You are Gin, a kung fu fighting machine, and the love of your life is being held against her will by the Savage-Tiger gang that you once faithfully represented. The only thing that you want more than to leave your gang is to be with the love of your life, Shan. You have betrayed the ones that have taken you in; and now the Savage-Tiger gang is seeking revenge against you. Shan has been kidnapped, and it's up to you to rescue her from the evil clutches of your old Savage-Tiger gang members. Even if it means you have to fight to the death

Battle for Rebirth features include:
* Sophisticated 3D characters and large scenes!
* Smooth punches and kicks!
* Sensitive control!
* Using multiple fighting strategies
* Increase power by unlocking special weapons
* Learn the moves in "Teaching Mode"

With Battle for Rebirth on your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, you'll battle the evil forces of the Savage-Tiger Gang and attempt to rescue your fair love, Shan. You are given many different defenses and attack techniques to help you fend off these attackers who want you dead. Ringleaders are the most deadly opponents that you'll come up against; so keep a safe distance, and use your punches and kicks wisely. If you keep punching at the air, it only makes them attack you more ferociously. The controls are easy to use and offer a wide selection of combat options. Take advantage of your ability to move around the fighting area and the flexibility of the different controls which allow you to easily walk and maneuver Gin. Hitting the controls continuously allows you to make repeated strikes against your opponent; however your best defense is a well thought-out combination of punches and rapid kicks to disable your enemy. The longer you fight, the more you will find out which available combinations work best against your attacker; but rapid kicks are always going to produce the strongest results.

When Gin becomes enraged, a tiger image appears on the screen. Tap this image and discover the hidden potential and power of the rapid and vicious punching technique, which is referred to as "Mad Tiger Teeth". For extra power and control against the Savage-Tiger Gang, pull out your deadly series of high intensity attacking kicks which are called "Thousand Tiger Tails" to get the upper hand in your battle to finish them off. We have even included the ultra-powerful attacking aids of the "Foot thorn" and brass knuckles to defeat even the toughest of rivals who won't rest until you're destroyed. All you have to do is unlock them.

Download Battle For Rebirth now on your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, and begin to fight the forces of evil, lay down your killer moves to rescue the girl, and save the day.

No, he just happens to be a red head. With longish hair. And a fighter. Well, may a bit like Hwoarang...

In any event, the game is kind of fun. It runs smoothly on my iPhone 4, the animation is not bad, and the controls work well. I like the multiple camera views. Story as simple as that of Donkey Kong.

Do you get to run around in that environment, or is it just confined to one small area?

You walk around some pretty non-descript alleyways (you see a map at the start), fighting against members of your former gang. At the end of a level, you fight a boss -- have met only one so far.

Overall, it looks a bit like a PS1 game, plays surprisingly well for low budget title. Make no mistake, though: it is very much a low budget title.

So, how does it stand up to, say, the Bruce Lee Dragon game?

Bruce Lee is much (much, much) more polished. But they're different kinds of games -- you wouldn't expect a lot of combat depth from a brawler.
