App description: WELCOME, CUBONEER!
* Cubotronic 3D is a unique puzzle for brilliant minds - put your brain to the ultimate test!
* See gameplay-video at http://www.cubotronic.com!
* 100+ levels to test your spatial awareness

*********************
For centuries, mankind considered the sphere to be the perfect shape.
Well - we were wrong.

In Cubotronic, your mission is to define the movement of a bunch of lost cubes in order to recombine them to one big cuboid.

Your tools are simple, yet effective:

* Define which platform you want to move first, which one second, et cetera.

* Choose from two different directions for each platform

The problem
===========
As you can choose the sequence the cubes shall move, and define the path each cube will take, you are facing 384 possible solutions...

But there is an obstacle to overcome: the cubes may not collide during their way to their final destination.

Can you find the right combination?
Put your brain to the ultimate test!

Just watched the video. Looks like an interesting and original concept. I am however, put off by the idea of having to do the whole puzzle in my head as opposed to trying to match each set of cubes to another step by step. It just seems like it would get extremely hard. Which leads me to another question that often arises for me with regard to puzzle games: does it look like it would be any fun? I'm not so sure in this case. Still interested though, but not in any rush to dive in.

Hi Gabrien,

thanks for your feedback!

We also tried to implement sort of "preview" - i.e. show you where the cubes would "land" after a movement, but dropped the idea because it was making the game too easy (at least thats what my friends/testers said - but maybe they were too proud to say "damn, its too difficult ;-)

but maybe its a good idea to add another "mode", where you can see these previews... ill think about it - Thanks!

@ImNoSuperMan: thanks for moving the thread!

This is certainly an interesting idea, I'll give it that, and there appear to be a good number of levels that are likely to last a while. I may have to pick it up and check it out.

It's decent, except for the extremely repetitive, generic music, and the fact that the first 40 levels or so are in 2D. I hope that they start being in 3D by the 40's, as the first 35 I've done so far (including #40) have been easy and each 10-level tier must be unlocked in succession.

Hi Grubjelly,

yes, starting from level 41, cube consist of two or three layers (so its 3d).
next version will have an option to change track/control the music`s volume.

Thanks for your feedback!
