This is a great pick up and deliver/order fulfillment game. The basic idea is that you are helping the title character Miriel, earn money by working in her store. You direct Miriel as she runs around frantically trying to fill customers orders for products as quickly as possible. The higher the difficulty of the order and the quicker you complete it, the more money you earn for each one. Each level lasts a set amount of time, though you do get to finish filling orders for any customers that were in the store at the end of the day. As you progress through the story, moving from town to town, you get to learn more of Miriel's story and make some decisions about how you will help her.

The game starts out simply with just basic goods needing to be supplied. After a little while, you start getting orders for things like bread, which you will prepare by combining ingredients in an oven. This takes longer than just getting basic goods down from the shelves for customers. There is some strategy to maximize profits by creating expensive, high demand objects like bread before customers ask for it.

All in all this is a really fun game which ramps up the difficulty slowly enough for anybody to be able to play and room to improve your scores by being able to deliver more quickly.

I think I'd like to point out that from what we know, 10tons created Miriel the Magical Merchant before Mystic Emporium.

Check out the release dates:

Mystic Emporium was released on the iPad before Miriel the Magical Merchant HD. We also think that there is certainly enough room for more than one magical time management game on the iPad Mystic Emporium is a beautifully done game also.
