Where is the CPS2 support? I cringe whenever my friend is playing MvC1 on his Android and my iPhone4 can't.

Not having tried either of these roms on my iPhone 4 I can't be sure but for the rotation on do donpachi can you not use the screen rotation lock function of the phone itself? (in case you don't know if you double click the home key to bring up the multitasking menu and scroll all the way to the left, there's a rotation lock function) for the other rom if you press both the credit and start button at the same time you will bring up the proper mame options screen, from there you can choose the "reset rom" option, it has worked with others that failed to load in the past. Like I said though I haven't tried either of these roms on my iPhone so I'm just guessing that these tips may help you out, good luck!

Does iMAME4all have any plans for supports the official HDMI adapter, so one could use your TV as the display? Nice little MAME console, that, when using a Wii Remote and/or classic controller. Or does iMAME4all already support doing this? Can it output at 1080p/720p?

Have anyone ordered an iControlPad? Stuart Carnie stated it's pretty nice (see http://toucharcade.com/2011/03/28/el...-ios/#comments ). However, he couldn't comment on the legacy game compatibility (touch emulation) on JB'd devices.

This would be excellent, I've ordered a HDMI adapter along with my iPad 2 but have to wait till 26th April for them to be delivered cause of shortages

I know iMAME4all supports tv out on my regular iPad so I'm hoping it will, after reading the feature on iPad 2s mirroring though I'm not sure that it wouldn't work straight off the bat without any additional coding?

Is there a jailbreak out for iPad 2 at the moment? I'm hoping they'll have released one by the time mine gets here!

The mirroring should work, but that won't be 1080p, or really even 720p because the iPad's display is 4:3 aspect ratio. I.e. with mirroring you get bars on the left and right sides of the screen. To get 16:9 and/or 1080p, the app will have to specifically support that. Mind you, this is all in theory - I don't even have my iPad 2 yet, let alone the HDMI adapter.

Ah I see! I'm hoping it's a feature Seleuco will add then in that case, he's usually great at implementing ideas that our forum members suggest, mind you I'm not sure he's been visiting that regularly of late what with the twins he and his wife were expecting.

When is your iPad 2 due? Or have you not ordered one yet? The wait is killing me for mine, ordered on launch day in the UK and was told it wouldn't despatch till the 15th April, after checking my order status the other day I found that even though that's the despatch date it was going to take a further 11 days after that to actually get to me apparently due to the iPads coming directly from shanghai???!!! Ridiculous but true!

Imame4all should support 1080p directly as has internal code that let you chouse the external device screen resolution... Also games are escaled to use selected resolution, so 16:9 games should be really nice to play with.

I sold my iPad and now I have a iPad 2, still waiting to jailbreak it so I have not tested imame4all on my new iPad... I hope that jailbreak could be possible in near future.

Anywa, my twins (and wife) don let me doing nothing by now...

That's brilliant news! I've heard that a jailbreak is imminent but there's no firm date for it, I won't be following the jailbreak scene on that device till mine actually turns up anyway but here's hoping it's soon!
