Pocket Frogs Trading Thread

Rough patch with this Plus+ problem. Given that my phone has never been jailbroken, heck, it hasn't even racked up a parking ticket (!), I was all the more baffled & dismayed.

Now some people have written that this condition rights itself, myself included, but what made this situation different was the "no descriptions" part & the program closing part when I tried to visit a hab. I could live with adding back friends, as needed, but no descriptions & crashing was another matter entirely.

Thought I was on the right track adding one back at a time & checking habs until I added the 8th person &, uh oh, all the descriptions gone. Again. And crashing.

So, in a fit of desperation & girding myself emotionally against the possibility that all my PF data might be in jeopardy, I pressed the PF icon until the "X" appeared & deleted it. Poof! Gone!

Then I d/led it again & installed. Much to my delight, all seemed normal. My Neighbors were all there (with descriptions - yay!) & they didn't disappear as I tried to catch up on my gifting. Looks good.

But what would life, virtual or not, be without a generous helping of thanks?

p.s.: As some of you have probably noticed by now, I am woefully out of sync with many of 'dexers who are currently doing lower end frogs. Result? I send back a frog of higher value. Will try to work on building up my lower level frogs but I also need to be mindful of my leveling up which is inconsistent with breeding those frogs.

Lisi, Good to hear that a reinstall of PF resolved your issue with missing descriptions and app-crashing. Hopefully it won't occur again for a very long time!

Hi all,

I just found the Froggydex app that lists all the different species of frogs. Comparing with my froggydex, I found 2 species listed in the app that i do not have: Vinaceus & Trivium.

Are these valid species? If so, would someone please send me one? I would really appreciate it.
