Can't decide what the Bulbus is meant to represent though?
I thought that might be the "beach ball".

Default BULLAs to share

I went to the mountains to cool off, but it hasn't helped. Wi-fi is limited here.

I have Aqua & Azure Bullas to share (courtesy of javaRich). Let me know if you want them. May be a couple of days before I can honor your request.

I also have some Vinaceus to pass along (thanks to andinz1970).

Thanks.

I'd swap you, it's what I call a 'froggy' morning here - fog plus frost. I hate the winter!

The beach ball idea works, I like it!

'Kiwis' this week, eh? Funny how everyone but us calls them that, we refer to them as 'kiwifruit' to distinguish them from our national bird. And ourselves.

Anybody else have their PF + screen frozen ?

I've got the Kiwi Slice set. It's one of those 4 pair sets all
The same colors, so will gift the 4 frogs to two people.

waiting for people to finish beach set :-/ tho it might just be because PF screen is frozen?

Thanks Sneeb for Kiwi Slices starter set! I like the fruity theme of this week's set. My Plus+ screen is not frozen at the moment.

Andi, I thought the Kiwi fruit set would be of interest to you! What do you think of Golden Kiwi fruits? I like the taste of both green and golden. Speaking of the weather, where I am it has been very hot, but followed by thunderstorms yesterday and this evening. We've had very wild summer weather!

Thanks also to:

JavaRich!,
Lisi,
Maholah,
Miamare,
Danjarus,
Frogparent0,
Gracesqx,

and anyone else who sent gifts recently.

A nice evening to everyone.

Lisianne, has anyone asked the Marsh brothers recently about an update for PF, maybe via twitter?

Thank you Andi!
Don't know. Found Ian Marsh on Twitter, checked his feed & all his recent posts have to do with SkyBurger (?!). You could always ask, of course, but you'd have a wider audience on the NB Support Forum - & more support as well.

Personally I think that TT & PP (because of the greater need to buy bux) represents a more lucrative ROI for their time at the moment. Maybe I'd do the same thing in their place, can't say & who am I to judge.

If they could find a way to make as much money with PF, without upsetting its huge user base (!), I think it'd increase their chances of updating it.

The loudest, most strident, uber-advocates on the forum are for PP & for TT. Now which programs would you be most likely to update?!

@ Snappy, LOL, I hate BOTH kinds, and pick them off my pavlova - or even better, make my own and put berries or other fruit on instead.

@ Lisianne, oddly enough, while I have done TT as far as I can go, and have Pocket Planes for later, the only one of the three I've spent any money on is PF. The express MB and the babyproof kit are lifesavers.

I've spent the most money on PF (Babyproofing & Express MB), but also the minimum ($4.99) on TT & PP. The minimum because I found pleasure in the games & I hoped my monetary "Thanks" would express my appreciation of their time & effort AND would also serve as an incentive to update PF.

The reason you & I & many other PF players spent $10 for PF was we were actually investing in the game by paying for something that paid dividends - they were everlasting, non-consumable items.

It took a while but once people got used to be nickel & dimed to death by IAPs in games, NB modified their more generous, user-friendly freemium approach. In fact, IMO, they continue to modify it. Whereas bux were relatively plentiful in TT (lots of easy ways to get them), they are much less accessible in PP.

As I said earlier, if I were in their shoes I might make the same decisions. Whereas I can't judge, I can be disappointed that they seem to have "forgotten" PF.

p.s.: Since I never aim to complete 100% of the 'dex, you might wonder why I even care. It's because without the release of an update, it's logical to believe that once 'dexers DO succeed, they will slowly fall away. Already this thread is much smaller & less animated than when I joined. So to me it would be like losing friends.

p.p.s.: Big thanks to Dom for the Kiwi Slices Starter Set (I'll pass it on, as usual) plus Snappy & Andi, who continue to trade with me on a regular basis tho' I'm but a shadow of a presence in this forum.
