Iphone gaming vs Android Gaming

Andriod is getting more market share and expect more developers designing games for Andriod. Big publishers are also bringing good games to andriod platform.

What are your views and will this affect iphone games?

OpenFient is also on Andriod now and a few popular iOS casual games are popular in Andriod now.

This is definitely good news for game developers and andriod platform which need a boost to compete with Gamecenter.

What are your views on this too?

Andriod still do stand a chance on gaming. However not sure how are the gaming experience though.

But andriod have more phones on it. It still poses a threat when coming to numbers.

But that's also the main problem. Fragmentation. There are so many different phones that run android, they aren't all as powerful as each other and are not all capable of running certain apps/games. Whereas App Store developers know the limitations and can develop apps that will run smoothly on all idevices.

I guess it will all come down to the factor which device offers better protection from piracy.

If developers cannot sell enough units they will leave either device.

Android is still just getting going in a year or two the head start by apple might not matter as much but right now apple is still the windows of mobile gameing. They get our scraps and leftovers we get everything first and cheaper right now they have no big originals that even come close to making me want one.
