Game Impressions

Spend a good 20min with this game and it's actually quite fun if your a big into the hunting genre. It is essentially a shooter on rails but you do get to choose different paths along the way along with the ability to take control of your jeep when you want to drive forward or stop for that precise kill. The atmosphere is quite good and the graphics throughout are fairly solid. My only suggestion to the developers is to try and add more trees, brush, rocks, things of that sort to give the sometimes barren landscape a bit more atmosphere. Perhaps add a 'high detail' option for those with newer hardware.

The game itself has two modes of play. The first of which is simply 'Hunt' which lets you control your jeep's stop and forward motion with the press of the gas pedal icon at the lower right of the screen. look movement is done with the left thumbstick along with a slider on the right to zoom in with your rifle's scope. It does take a bit to get used to but you'll soon find it rather easy to accomplish those long distance shots. The game also incorporates a sort of 'bullet time' in that when you pull off a shot, the camera will switch to the bullet as it makes its way to its intended target. There is a bit of strategy involved as you'll need to compensate for the animal's movement along with your vehicle (if its moving), in order to nail the animal on the run.

Sound is also fairly good with the sound of the jeep revving its engine to the animal sound sfx. The single background music track is also fitting but can get old after a few runs with either of the games' two modes.

Some suggestions to the developers:

-slightly more detailed environments (trees, brush, rocks, new sky palettes) or a high-detail setting for newer generation devices.
-more control schemes
-customize look sensitivity

Personal opinions/ideas:

-Game Center support
-two player coop over wifi (two people in the same jeep and work together to see how long they can last on the trail) (Game Center voice chat would be fun in this mode)
-Game mode to hunt for specific animals
-progression system that rewards players completing certain objectives with new trails and animals to hunt

Overall this is a great hunting game with a lot of room for improvements. Definitely hope developers remain active both on the forums and with continued updates to the game.

Thanks Rylin for your detailed and honest review of our game, its so nice to here your ideas as it totally matches our goals for updates.

The Game Center idea with 2 player CO-OP is one of our goals and we thought of it too we think two players sitting on the back will be great fun with voice chat.

The controls, sensitivity and tweaks to say turning off music and having great ambient noises is also in the pipeline.

New trails and achievements is our natural progression.

Thanks again.
