I think I miss the side-scroller platform action in heavy mach 1.

I bought the version iPhone when it released.
I think the graphics should be much better in iPAD version.

Love this game. It was great on the iPhone, and on the pad, you can see nearly entire regions. A steal at $3. You will be spending s lot of time leveling up, but it's well worth the effort!

This came out ages ago, got this on iPhone and then again on iPad, true the side scrolling action was fun but I felt it lacked depth, that's not concern here, much more substance to the game and it lasts a very long time. A lot of criticisms levelled at this game were the mindless objectives, but I personally don't feel the need for any story or added narrative to the objectives. So essentially you're going out into one of the many maps, killing as much as you can, collecting as much as you can, going back to base to complete objectives and kitting out your Mach with new weapons...and so on... So I'd agree it isn't compelling narratively, but damn is it addictive. Upgrading has always been a hook in these games and it is a pleasure to earn that new weapon so you can progress a bit further, and because the gameplay is fun despite not being in direct control like in the first game these upgrades are fun to use.

Repetitive? Sure
Fun? Very much so!

Just curious...is there an ending to this game, or is it endless? Is there a final boss to fight? I'd rather play games knowing there's some kind of ending to it.

Woops I made a search before post it I swear it! I was surprised to see no result but well I suppose sometimes this can happen but not this time. (Perhaps a moderator could merge?)
