POLYCUBES - tetris-monospace mix!

new "cube" game arrived. it looks like a "monospace tetris" combination. here is a description from app store.

POLYCUBES

In this game a random sequence of polycubes (3D pieces composed of cubes) are falling on the 3D gamefield. The objective is to create complete layers of blocks without gaps. When such a layer is created, it disappears, and any blocks above the completed layer will move down. With time the pieces are falling faster and faster.

The basic concept is the same as int the very popular and well-known 2D version of the game.

The size of the game field and the complexity of the polycubes can be changed. With complex polycubes it is more brainwork to figure out where to put the pieces and the game becomes similar to a puzzle, while the simpler variations allow for a more fast-paced game.

here is a gameplay video that i made :

Thanks for putting this up. I heard from the developer last week when the game was first available, and the game offer 20fps animation which is more than enough for this type of game, and the gameplay is very smooth based on the video using a d-pad. This has been on my list since then and will get it shortly with some impressions later.

so i bought it.
it's nice game. at the beginning it's a bit hard (putting cubes in the right places), but after couple of minutes you know what to do.
worth .99 cents.

Are the controls responsive?

i like the controls, they fit the game well.
it's just hard to see where you have to put the piece.
