Mariachi Giro Released (Universal app)!!

I know guys that maybe you're not on the Mariachi music, but I wanted to share this new app with some representative mexican venues.

From itunes:
"Mariachi Giro
Live the experience of playing real traditional Mexican Mariachi Music in the fun World of Mariachi Giro, while Giro is a Word that in Mexico stands for a job or the best fighter of a cockfight it spells exactly like HERO making reference to those great music games that inspire us.
Accept the Challenge and became the best Mariachi in the World while you play mariachi instruments and the songs of el “Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan” considered the best Mariachi in the World.

PLAY
9 traditional melodies by Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan “El mejor mariachi del mundo”:
Cielo Rojo, La Bikina, Mexicano, Cien Años, Delirio, El Pastor, Perfume de Gardenia, Por Amor and Llegaste tu.

3D PALENQUE
Travel through exotic and typical Mexican locations like Monumento a la Revolución, Xochimilco, Chichen Itza, Teatro Degollado, Hacienda del Muerto and La Feria de todos los Santos at Colima.

REAL MARIACHI INSTRUMENTS
Try new outfits for the Mariachi band, buy instruments and hire new band members. You can play using the soundtrack of the guitar, the violin, trumpets or voice.

MORE CHALLENGES
Unlock new tracks, play potpourris, unlock every hidden trophy.
Take “serenata” (serenade) to 9 different beautiful ladies in locations like Paseo Vergara at Querétaro and El Callejón de Beso at Guanajuato.

MULTIPLAYER
Tired of solo playing? Form up a full Mariachi band with up to 4 more players.

True fun, true music, become a true Mariachi Giro.

Mariachi Giro runs in HiDef so one version fits on iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad."

More about the app

It was a little late....sorry about that :P

Ok, one of the features from this app unlike guitar rock tour 2 is that we manage 4 channels (don't ask :P).

When you loose an instrument that channel shuts off, just as expected in games of the same genre.

You can hire new mariachis (and buy new suits) to customize your mariachi. You can have up to 5 mariachis in the iphone/ipod and up to 7 in the ipad and iphone/ipod 4g.

The story mode has single song performances with challenges as well.

About customizing your mariachi, as the description says you can buy new instruments. The instruments can be unlocked finishing some stages of the game.

Achievements are also present in the game.

Here's an screenshot in the ipad (HD)
