Yes, I second Trace- and excellent game which will last quite a while.

Do you like reading? Stanza is an excellent free eReading app.

Yes I was just about to recommend Dizzy Bee too- an excellent highly polished game. Here's the link to the free version. If you like it I thoroughly recommend the full version.

Brain Challenge is VERY good. Yes, it is like Big Brain Academy, but with a saucy bit of totty instead of a blob that looks like snot telling you how you are doing. The games are all very good, and you unlock more as you play. It is very polished and even has speech as well as attractive colourful graphics. I do recommend this game.

Recommend 'Virtual Villagers' highly. It still plays even when the app is not running.

I'd suggest getting fivedice if you're into yahtzee. It's a real timekiller, but can be pretty expensive. If you like word games, wurdle is definitly one of the best. As mentioned before, Trace is also a really good game. If you like texas hold'em but can't afford apple's version, i'd recommend THTouch. It's sweet, cheap (59p or 99cents) and overall, good.
