Oh, yeah! I was beginning to think this would never come out. Are there any hints suggesting that the second part will be released in this? I'll share an early version of the opening cutscene from the unreleased second part on Tuesday, by the way.

I'll admit that the textures look kind of weak in the screenshots on the App Store. They claimed the engine was able to upscale really nicely, and they proved that with images like this:

Compare that to screen 4 on the App Store.

Now that they're actually upscaling the game, the iPad version looks rushed. Anyway, I'm hoping for a Retina Display update to accompany this soon as well. I'll pick this up tomorrow since I want to fully enjoy it again rather than get it now while I'm tired.

Where'd you get stuck? I know my way around the game like I know... Uh, well I've played it twice on the iPhone.

EDIT: I wanted to add another "fun fact" . Although the game was originally announced for every major console, it became apparent that the game would only be released on the iPhone. Then, around when the iPhone version was released, a Wii version was mentioned. Now, with one out of four planned episodes and only one version that was originally announced released (not counting the additional iPad version, since the iPad wasn't out when the game was announced), Icarus Studios has become one the most disappointing game developers in my eyes. I absolutely loved the game, but they didn't support it or keep to their word.

good, but could be better

I think that Dexter the game is good on the ipad, but I think it felt a little too familiar. The upscaling was sub-par at best. I wish they would have added more content to the Ipad version....like more episodes. Heck, add DLC, everyone else is . This game company needs to sell the rights off to Gameloft or Chillingo and let someone else make a better game. Don't get me wrong, I love this game, but at it's current state....it's just a promotional piece.
