Meh, I still haven't listened to it, so I can't really comment on this. The worst thing about Dimmu for me is the idiotic satanism, but that bothers be about lots of black metal.

I'm sure you really wouldn't like the new Fleshgod album. In fact, I could almost put money on it. But I am positive, however, that there are some elements that would surprise you, and you might actually like (Despite it being, all in all, a Tech Death album). The full on symphony elements of the album, from start to finish, are perfect. The addition of clean vocals, are (surprisingly) more than welcome. The smooth and beautiful transitions between each song (the album really never "quits") makes it a master piece. Seriously, it's one of those albums that makes you want to listen to the whole thing from start to finish and not want to just pick individual songs to listen to.

And then there is the song "The Forsaking" which is... just beast (and also doesn't appear to be on YouTube. /sadface). It's the slowest song on the album, but probably my second favourite just cause it's so god damn gorgeous. I know you are by no means a tech death fan, nor a fan of harsh vocals, but there really is beauty to be had in this magnificent album. I would suggest downloading it just for The Forsaking. hahahaha

It's all I have been listening to in my car on my commute back and forth from work, since my car got broken in to recently, and all my burned albums got stolen (except Agony, and a Ke$ha album, which there is a hilarious back story to) and I have been far too lazy to burn new ones, and far too poor to buy another iPod radio adapter.

Take a listen if you dare

Well if you can find it short of downloading it, I'd highly recommend taking a listen, even for you. It's a fantastic and pretty song (The Forsaking).

hahahahaa well... probably because there was literally NOTHING worth of value in my car at all. All that was taken was about 20-30 burned albums (Ranging from Melodeath, Power Metal, Chiptune, Tech Death, and Punk) a few coins of change (they didn't even take the larger worth coins like quarters...), a post-it note pad (half used) and a (broken) iPod radio adapter. That's right, it didn't even work. We just kept it in there. lol. The ironic part aboout all the albums taken, is the only thing of my wife's that was in there was the aforementioned Ke$ha album. That was the ONLY album they left! Not even thieves want Ke$ha! hahaahahahaha I joked about it with my wife for a week straight. Then ironically ended up getting into it simply out of the sheer fact that I had nothing else to listen to other than the new Fleshgod album (which the only reason IT wasn't taken, is because it was already in the CD player and you can't take it out unless the car is actually on. All in all I was pretty pissed that my car got broken into, but at the same time, I literally lost nothing but maybe...... 20 cents and maybe a couple hour's worth of time burning CD's. The CD's weren't even on my dime! They came from work! hahaahahahahaahahaha so I wasn't too pissed. Just glad the thieves had interest in stealing good music.

You haven't showed it to me, but I already have it. After you showed me "Shadows of the Sun" my curiosity was peaked for their other stuff, which is all much different. I don't have their first 2 albums though. I really like the song "For the Love of God".

Hah, those thieves were pretty unlucky finding an empty car like that. >.>
Also, I'd listen to the radio way before I'd listen to Kesha. :x

And how did you like their other albums, then? Other than Shadows, their best in my opinion is A Quick Fix of Melancholy (ep). From Blood Inside, Blinded by Blood is by far my favorite. :>

Found and new stuff I might like?

Yeah they were pretty unlucky hahahaah. They could have at least pissed me off or something by like... taking my car insurance information or something. lol. Would have taken a whole 3 minutes to print out but hey, would have made me actually have to do something lol.

Also, f*ck the radio. It's like... 75% commercials, and also, in the morning, nothing but talk shows, which some can be funny, but I'd rather listen to something.

I don't have A Quick Fix, but I didn't get any of their EPs. I really liked their "Themes" album, definitely different from "Nattens Madrigal" which was just... too black for me. "War of the Roses" was okay, but Perdition City was probably my 3rd Favrourite, behind "Blood Inside", which was behind "Shadows of the Sun". Hard to really judge though like I said, they are all so different.

And no, I haven't found anything, but when I finish up my work I will take a gander.

I'd take commercials over Kesha any day.

Get it, then! It's short, but also the closest they've got to Shadows, escept a bit more rock-oriented.

Alright, there's no hurry, I won't be able to listen to them till tomorrow anyway.

By the way, you might want to check out Falloch some time, similar to Agalloch but with Alcest-like clean vocals.

Not for me. Advertisements piss me off when they get in my way. Like really bad. I get all antsy and fidgety, when commercials come on TV or the Radio, thus is why I RARELY ever watch or listen to either. I know it sounds weird but 2 things that really bug me and freak me out are Commercials/Ads and Large Crowds of people.

Sounds pleasant! I will check it out along with the others I gotta DL later.

Cool, doubt I'll find anything Mr. Know-it-all Balu` doesn't know, but hey. Worth a try ^.^

Falloch huh? Why does that name sound so f*cking familiar?

I get that. They can be annoying, but few things annoy me as much as monothonic pop music. :x

Alright.

All I can do is wish you luck. :>

No idea. They released their debut this year and their name doesn't sound common to me. It does sound a bit like 'phallus' with a certain pronounciation, but I doubt that's why it sounds familiar. >.<

Meh, I've grown, quite sadly, fond of it, as it has been one of my wife's favourite types of music to listen to as of late. I blame her/our age ^.^

I dunno, I want to say it was the name of a character from a video game or something that I was familiar with, but I can't put my finger on it. Sounds interesting either way ^.^
