Oh yeah! I forgot I listened to those yesterday. Magic Kingdom I've heard before, and it was pretty awesome as usual. Brimstone, was pretty good too. Not memorable, but good in general. Demoniac however, was pretty good. It was essentially DragonForce with (imo) much better vox. hahahaha. Also, the music actually felt like it had some kind of substance to it I guess. Didn't feel like one long 8 minute solo like DragonForce's later albums. Oh and yeah, I know it's a few dudes from DragonForce. lol.

And yes, I am lead to believe this is because Japan, and all Japanese people, are actually robots, or made of electronics. They add human vocals to the music so that we don't think anything is going on, but the electronic atmospheres and leads and keys and such, are actually messages, that only other robots can understand. This in theory, leads me to believe that one day, Japan will take over the world, and begin creating Human/Robot hybrids, and consume us all. They have such a wide variety of music so that the robots that only like pop, or only like trance, or only like metal, etc. can hear the messages that Japan itself is trying to send out. And that message? Try to take over the world.

Told you I didn't like avant-garde that much! I do believe I can enjoy a few songs off the album though.

@I did, both now and when the album came out. :> It's a nice song, and so is the album, but I prefer their albums with John West as a singer.
Also, check out the band Seventh Wonder, especially the album Mercy Falls. It's catchy, melodic progressive metal.

Atmospheric Prog meta!? This is a whole album/song lasting 57:10 minutes long.

I'm not sure what my expectations were, but this is one heck of an album/song that even I would dig. Highly melodic in many ways (except melodeath guitar riffs), great vocals, interesting pacing and good instrument performance.

Of course, I would be lying if I said I enjoyed the whole album. The slower, more atmospheric sections (which you would enjoy) bore me to bits compared to the busier sections.

Welcome to the thread! Balu` and I like symphonic. Balu`s probably heard of the album (always assume that he has ) so thank you for the info .

Wow the female vocal sounds male-ish. Nice mix of melodeath too! <- my favorite genre.

Btw please capitalize nouns as appropriate. It'll make things easier to read .
