This is definitely the best version of PQ ever released, but it has a stupid, stupid interface glitch:

After you cast any spell, you can't drag swap pieces on the board because it won't recognize your finger. You have to tap the piece first, not drag it. This is driving me a bit mad since otherwise I absolutely love this game!

I absolutely love the game and I'm already into chapter 3 on the iPhone. No game sync is a deal breaker. It has also been so late.

Not so much a deal breaker for me. Replayabilty is one of this games strong points. Have bought 4 versions of this now and have not finished any of them. This (as had been said) is the better version of the game by far. Will do very nicely while waiting for PQ2 to arrive. Have already bought DS and 360 versions of that too! This particular release is I feel quite big deal, definitely a page one app. Any of you out there not given this game a spin up 'till now, for any reason, now is your chance to see what all the fuss was about. Great value too.

Can you elaborate on this being the better version. Like surfheart already said the iPhone version wasn't a very good port and still isn't after many updates. But this coukd be great on iPad if done right. Better than the 360 version for control and polish and f/x etc?

I love what you said. Me too. Always bought the game and then leave it. So, please give more impression, I only bought iPhone ch1&2, PC. Waiting for impression to click the evil button.

I've never purchased, or even played, any of the previous Puzzle Quests. I'm guessing that this is a pretty good buy for me!

Puzzle Quest on iPad is awesome. That's all I have to say about the game.

The iphone version is the worst conversion ever and works like crap on the iPad.

This is one of my favourite games (have it for DS, PSP and XBLA) and way better than the sequel (they screwed it by replacing the map with a slow and boring 3D environment) and the spin-offs (Puzzle Chronicles, Galactrix and Puzzle Kingdoms).

So i'm getting the HD version hoping it would be as good as it should.
