I think I played this before on another system...? If it's the game I'm thinking of, it's very, very good!

But I can't afford it right now.

I want to say I played this on the DS and it was quite fun. But I don't know that it was the exact one since Mah Jong and Quest aren't exactly unique words to stick in your brain!

Now 99 cents!

I'm thinking about picking it up since I love Mahjong games. Are there any impressions?

I might have to pick it up for .99. If anyone's tried it, how does this compare to Mr. Mahjong?

Playing: FIFA 12 Monster Island Quarrel Deluxe FIFA Superstars Fix-It-Up
Waiting For: Trenches 2, Ultra Kid, Car Jack Streets 2, Star Command
Plus+, Game Center, Open Feint, Crystal, Gameloft Live: jecebn

Woah I just checked the App Store and noticed that the game is filled with in-app purchases for the Free Play mode (7 sets costing 99 cents each). The description states: "+ Freeplay Mah Jong with over 600 classic style boards". Do any of the boards come with the initial purchase of the game or do they all have to be bought through IAP?

If you end up getting it, can you post how many boards are included in Freeplay mode without buying any DLC? Also, how manly boards does each downloadable pack contain?

Now you can find out yourself because it's free.

Tried it out. Lots of tiles in the layouts after the training. Nice idea with the starting balloons in the second level and the butterfly tilesthey will let you choose a blocked tile which goes free with a pretty animationin the third. A free wish so to say. Coudn't find a shuffle function when there are no more moves possible. You can choose then if you want to start the board with or without timer restart (or undo an amount of moves).

When you quit and launch again you have to start with the tutorial level. Tried multiplayer (four boards to choose from) for some minutes but there was no opponent available.

Seems to be well done and polished with Game Center and so on. Multiple languages. Some asia story around. Cool fx sounds (obviously variate). Can't await an iPad version of the gamealthough the tiles are crisp sharp they are really small on iPhone. And yes, you can zoom a bit but that can't be ultima ratio for Mahjong because you need the overview.

Anyway, thanks for the freebie.

Okay, pretty much 100% of all mah jong games in the App Store aren't mah jong. They're all mah jong solitaire. Which is retarded.

Betas: Victory Day, Victory March, Zombwich, Mission Europa, Shadow Era, Slice It!, Baseball Superstars 2011, Queen's Crown, Aralon: Sword and Shadow, Zombie Runaway, Third Blade, Tower Defense: Lost Earth
