Some of them were cute but I never really got into them. I was always into hardcore punk so some of the bands still sounded like pop to me LOL

The new My Chemical Romance Album. Na Na Na might be one of my favorite songs by them. Destroya is pretty sick as well

I've only listened to a couple of songs off of it, but as sick as it is, I really, really miss the old MCR. I was running through songs off of Three Cheers and You Brought Me Bullets today, and it's a shame they still don't sound like that.

Btw, what did you think of the video for Na Na Na?

Yeah, I'll admit, some of it is pretty wimpy, but I'm all over the place when it comes to music (I'll be listening to some death metal one minute, then some wimpy stuff the next). As long as something sounds good to me, I'm all for it, and that stuff sounds great to my ears (especially after having the original versions inflicted on my day after day).

It's a damn shame that they don't still sound like that. IBYMB,YBMYL was a borderline metal album no question about it. I remember seeing them live when that album first came out. Even 3 Cheers, which got a tad poppier, was still amazing. Everything else after can lick the salt off my left ear.

No doubt, I am indeed the same exact way man. Theres just some bands in the Pop-Punk era I couldn't take. And a majority of them were on those damn Pop goes Punk albums hahahaaha.

Best wimpy band: Brand New - Guernica.

Haha yeah, Brand New is pretty good. My friend told me about them once, and they were actually decent. I listen to some wimpy crap here and there, but most of it isn't too bad... The worst it gets usually is Escape the Fate's This War is Ours album (I can't stand their new album aside from 2 songs, and their first album was awesome).

As for MCR, I didn't think that The Black Parade was all that bad, although it just didn't compare to the first two. There were some great songs, though, like Mama (might be my favorite song by them... not sure), The Black Parade, and Teenagers. Still, though, I wish they'd sound more like their first album (which actually had some screaming on it, amazingly enough).

Avenged Sevenfold - Critical Acclaim. Trying to run through the entire self titled album right now, followed by Nightmare. Not quite sure when I'll get to either Diamonds in the Rough or Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, though.
