Ikanoid is free?

They apparently changed their name to Space Buster and it's free for right now.

For some of us this is good news. I was very turned off by the videos of Block Breaker Deluxe. I said before that I'd have to be a twelve year girl with ADD to enjoy it and I still think so. I think Space Buster looks much nicer.

I had bought this game back when it was originally $2.99.

Even with the new update today, it's still buggy. The ball physics still aren't right in that often, the ball will curve back down when it was going at a strong angle upwards (don't know if it makes sense but it will after you've played it).
Their new addition with your music in the background is actually buggy. It was working fine, and after 2 or 3 levels, my music just crapped out and stopped working. Just dead air...

Don't get me wrong, the price is right as a free game, it's just unfortunate that still with all these updates (this is the 3rd of 4th update if I'm not mistaken), they haven't really fixed the ball physics which might just be the most important part of the game...

Fun game eventhough it's easy as hell. Maybe a couple of more powerups would spice it up...

I found it a little too easy. I ending up just quitting since I could see no end in sight.

Breakout type games can only be interesting for so long. I'm glad I got though. Free is free.

How can I save my progress? I was already on level 25ish when I died, so I quitted it and the next time I launched, all the levels are locked again.

I downloaded it and gave it a good try, but found it to be a very uninspired arkanoid clone. IMHO the levels are really pretty poor. For example, the author thinks that spelling words with the blocks makes for a good block layout. It doesn't. The game is also too easy, as others noted, and I was getting bored with it, then finally got to a level where there is a narrow column surrounded on either side by unbreakable columns. That is difficult, but it just isn't fun. I quit the game and deleted it. Glad it was free.
