Best Game to Play While Walking?

I walk a lot of the time, and whenever I do so, I always have the need to whip out the iPod Touch and play a bit to pass the uneventful stroll.

However, when looking through my pages of games, there aren't any that I can play whilst walking. Even though they are great they just don't work. The only one I have been able to use is a spot the difference game, but that wasn't so much fun.

Qualities the game must have:

- Quick to load and start playing
- Easy to pause or pull away from the game
- Does not depend on you concentrating fully on the game (I need to look where I am going)
- No accelerometer, that just doesn't work.
- Does not need great attention to detail (I don't want to have to squint up close to the screen whilst walking, plus sunlight reflection is an issue).
- Needs to be fun and pass the time.

And before you all shout 'Listen to Music!', I don't store any songs onto my iPod (OMG!!!) and really can't be bothered to pay continuously for the latest tracks.

Edit: Where I live, the roads are quit empty, not like an urban city. Don't warn me not to get run over or walk into a lamp post, but thanks for the thought.

Game Dev Story. But don't sue me when you get run over. Or walk into a lamp post.

Playing while walking? Really?
I never play games while walking, not only because I risk walking into something or tripping, but also I can't see the screen very well with he sunlight reflecting off it. Maybe you should try an augmented reality game which uses the camera, then at least that way you'd be safer
Also spot the difference games are probably he worst because they require quite a lot of concentration.
I'd suggest something easy and simple.

Plants vs zombies is easy to play and walk.

You can pretty much play Skee-Ball without looking.

I've played Str8ts and Sudoku while walking with my family, and of course 1000 Find Them All is perfect for walking if you have a GPS!

I have played PathPix Pro, Orbital, and Game Dev Story several times while walking and/or driving.
