Good move. Should definitely push people on the fence to go ahead and purchase this quality release.

Cheers

I thought they said they'd rather focus on bringing more content and updates for paid customers first as a reward?

Or 3 new characters + 10 new levels are all we'd ever get??

Anyway, I hope they put in the ninja dude in the lite version because he's awesome!

Yes, but it came out together with the lite version, which means they've been working on it together with the update and that's different to what they said to prioritise us first. Nevermind, I'm just nitpicking what they said. Sorry Anders, I take my words back.

They do need the lite version to introduce the game to more people. It hasn't got in the top 25 it so deserves.

I just tried and finished the lite version. It only has 3 levels and 2 characters (Lizzie and Monkee). They should've put the ninja dude instead of monkee.

Bad thing: It has framerate problem which the full version doesn't have. And it crashed right after I finished it (on the congratulations & try full version screen). Might scare some people that the game is unstable?

I've deleted the lite version and given it a 5-star

Very very often framerate issues are not related to the app itself, but rather background stuff going on instead. The same thing with crashes, very very often due to the OS and not the app itself.

In this case, it could of course mean we did something wrong, but I'm guessing a restart and a restore will fix those two issues.

A restart fixes framerate issues. A restore fixes crashes. It is sad to see all not-so-good reviews in the app store when people say a game crashes a lot, and really it has nothing to do with the app itself. I just wish people would send an email to support instead. This applies to all games of course, not just ours.

Anyway, the Lite version was about 50% done when the game came out, and we finished in about one day, and then we started on the new levels and characters, and submitted them both at the same time. All in all, it took about a week to do the update for one dev, two designers, and one to four testers, and then another week+ of just waiting for it to get approved.

Cheers!
