It works well enough, crashes a lot, lags, takes forever to connect to the minecraft server. But what the heck, it's minecraft! I hope the dev adds some sort of singleplayer non online mode and swipe controls, respawn button, Etc.

Never played minecraft anywhere before and was reading about it and saw this quote and I'm sold. "Sometimes you end up layering stupidity upon stupidity until you reach some kind of idiot nirvana*…" if I like it I will check out this app also.

This is classic only.....
No pick, no mining deep into caverns searching for diamonds. Cannot play singleplayer, which would be awesome. Best work around I can find is download the classic multiplayer server. In server.properties change the verify player names to false. Then forward you r ports so you can remotely connect to you private game |

@Rangerlump
Are you running the Classic multiplayer server on a Mac or PC? I can get the alpha server to run on my Mac but not the Classic server... ![]() TIA for any help here. EDIT: Figured it out with the help of the README file and this thread: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewto...p?f=22&t=61493 Besides setting (as recommended by Rangerlump) verify player names to false in server.properties I set isPublic to false to create a private server. I was able to connect to my Mac over my LAN using my Mac's local IP and the standard Minecraft port number 25565 (no need to port forward). Hope this helps others...
