Description:
As BloodRunner, you play as a charming, fun-loving little vampire without a care in the world... except, of course, you only have 10 seconds to live. Which means, every day you have to run for your life!

To quench your eternal thirst for the yummy drops of blood scattered throughout the dungeons and castle corridors, your quest is to run, jump and fly your way past hidden threats as fast as your tiny batwings can carry you. With certain death lurking around every corner, you'll have to avoid shooting stakes, holy water, spike traps, pop-up spikes and the fatal touch of the sun's searing rays in order to collect more and more life-giving droplets while you search for the safety of your coffin.

BloodRunner's dynamic level selection allows you to start playing at level 1, 11, 21, 31, or even 41 straight away - so you can see what lies ahead. Within every ten levels, the first three will always be unlocked so you can skip past one level and return to finish it later.

With BloodRunner you'll enjoy countless hours of fast-paced action as you race to beat your high score on the Open Feint enabled leaderboards. Challenge your friends to beat your score, or pursue the glory of being the fastest BloodRunner in the world. Go on and claim that title!

BloodRunner's haunting, yet beautiful, visuals are optimized to show off the splendor of the latest HD Retina Display to its full potential. That's great news for all new iPod touch and iPhone 4 players.

Seeing as vampires live forever, we have big plans to keep the fun alive with batloads of obstacles, enemies, abilities, more challenging levels.

cool

hmm, looks really not bad, BloodRunner, though a vampire, but seems not a bit scary but funny and even lovely, I'll pick up and have a try.

$0.99, I like free and cheap games

Not bad at all. It's not a running game -- more of a very fast platformer. You make your way through mazes constantly loading yourself up with blood to survive, till you find a coffin. You are scored based on both the amount of blood you have left and how many of the drops you picked up along the way. The first few levels are easy enough, but pretty soon they get filled with spikes, water-pits, etc. The controls, a mix of tilt-to-move and touch-anywhere-for-jumping, are surprisingly accurate. The graphics are simple but retina-display sharp. The animation and framerate are very smooth. Sound effects have a nice old-school platfomer feel to them.

I went through the first 8 levels pretty quickly, but things they're getting more complex and there's plenty of incentive to replay levels to collect every blood droplet. Seems like a deal for .99, but I'll know better when I go further into it.

Sounds like a good game, might have to pick it up when I get home. Is it a fast platformer like the King of fast platformers------ Sonic?

any chance of the devs implementing some virtual buttons? I can't stand tilt controlled platformers... =o/

Hopefully they will... until then, this one's goin in the big pile of apps I've paid for but never play...

that was on May 10th...

Thinking it was yet another broken promise from yet another lying to sell a few copies dev...

Almost to the point now where I'm only gonna buy from well established devs, and VERY well known companies...

Sick of being lied to by indie devs...
