In some ways, Fun With Death is a better game than Angry Birdsa great outgrowth of the Angry Birds formula, adding complexity while maintaining the same fun that the games more popular counterpart is capable of producing.

Fun With Death adds many new and fun elements to the launching physics puzzle genre. This game truly embodies the puzzle aspect of a physics puzzler as each level has a particular set up for a certain solution. Trevor Sheridan, App Advice (4/5, SHOULD BUY)

However, two recent entries in the genre are much, much better. In fact, they are worthy to stand in the company of the original phenomenon (Angry Birds). One of them is Trucks and Skulls HD, and the other is Fun with Death HD. Anybody who likes catapult games like Angry Birds will love this game. It adds enough new elements to keep the experience interesting, and the developers took their time to produce a high-quality game. A quality title, and a worthy addition to an iPad game library. - Guy Dayden, Mobile Tech Review (4/5)

Fun With Death is an interesting variation on the puzzle platformer and if you're a fan of games like Angry Birds you'll slip in to this one easily. Andrew Nesvadba, App Spy

SAVING (AND DESTROYING) SOULS
The bad souls (red guys) are a motley group of former Wall Street bankers, mob kingpins, lawyers and politicians and its your job to destroy all of them in a given level. Earn points and more halos by keeping the good souls (blue guys) intact. Those red guys definitely have it coming, now go out there and do your job!

THE GOOD, THE BAD & THE UGLY
Saving souls aint easy, but youre not alone. Youll have three Imps Heavy, Shield and Sticky at your disposal. These critters are the ammo you throw in each map, and each one has a unique function. Heavy is good at breaking stuff, Shield forms a protective shield around a soul, allowing them to be used as physics objects and Sticky attaches to surfaces and explodes. The controls are simple, intuitive and fun!

HAMMERS & LAUNCHERS & SPIKES, OH MY!
The key to success is to use the wide-range of powerful level objects in a given map and link together hilarious chain reactions that wipe out your targets. A hammer will send steel balls flying. Cogs will channel objects into a given area. Conveyor belts will deposit souls into pits. There are a variety of ways of completing each map, but youll earn more halos by using as many of these tools as possible.

CUSTOMIZATION
Customization is key! At the start of each round, you can add objects- such as sticks of dynamite, ramps and steel balls - into the map that will dramatically alter the outcome. Place them into the map and then go for broke! Youll earn more points for placing fewer objects, so finding that right balance of placed objects and skilled throws will pave the way for a destructive victory!

It looks like a ross between ANgry birds and The Incredible Machine. I am concerned by the fact that the description doesn't mention the number of levels. That can't be a good sign.

I've been playing with the game for about a half hour. It's a really fun game. It's very much like Angry Birds, but with an added element. There are some objects that you can place that help safeguard the souls you are trying to send to Heaven, and some that help to destroy the souls you want to send to Hell.

It's a bit tricky to get all the halos you need to get from level to level, so it does present a challenge, and the objects bring a nice twist to the game.

However, in those thirty minutes, the game crashed twice. I'm going to try again after a reboot of the iPad, but I'm getting concerned that this game might not be too stable as it is. I'll report back after a second try. Meanwhile, I'd love to hear about other people's experience with the game. Is it just me today, or are other people getting the same kinds of crashes ? I'd appreciate any info others could give me !

Thanks

A hard reboot seems to have corrected the problem. I've gone through 15 levels in the first section, and it is challenging to get three halos on each and every one of the levels. I'm missing two halos so far, and I need sixty (I think) to get to the next group of levels.

This is a really fun game. I wish there was some kind f music in the levels, and not just sound effects, but otherwise, this is a great game for the asking price ! It'll keep you busy for quite a while. Thumbs up on this one.
