I really loved the soundtrack for iPhone mode in DoDonPachi.

Yeah, Espgaluda II is worth it. I feel that if you're pretty intrigued by it, into SHMUPS, the $9 for it is no big deal. Bought it at full price, no regrets. Pounced on DoDonPachi for the intro price, doing the same this time around!

I bought both of them for full price the other week when I finally upgraded my device and they're both worth every penny and then some. These are games that I've probably played over 5 hours apiece and I still feel like I've barely scratched the surface with them. Heck, I've barely played arcade mode in either game. The amount of sheer gameplay depth in Cave's games is mindblowing and they're visual and aural ecstasy. Basically, I've fallen in love with them, hard. I even had to delete a few shmups from my device as they just don't do it for me after experiencing Cave's work.

Definitely planning on picking up Espgaluda. Immediately if it's on sale, otherwise I'll have to wait for some gift cards from Christmas. Cave games are awesome, and worth every penny, it's more a matter of how much flexibility I can spare in my budget lol.

I concur with all the other posts from the many CAVE fans out there; Espgaluda and DoDonPachi were both instabuys for me and still represent two of my most favourite games on the platform. So yep, I'll be snapping this little puppy up on the stroke of midnight - along with Mutant Bash TV and Star Wars Arcade. Maybe UFC too? Then again, maybe not. I'm ill in a hospital bed right now following major surgery, and now I'm out of ICU, I've at last got something to look forward too tonight!
