Finally a button / Gamepad solution for iDevices

Called Tactile+: It's like a screen protector where you feel real buttons and a gamepad for games.

Check it out

Yeah I read about this a while ago. Personally I don't want any controller or physical buttons - the touchscreen suits me fine. But people who prefer buttons might like it.

I quite liked the look of this when I first seen it but the fact their disposable one use things kind of killed it for me. I do think it's a great idea though and could really help in some games but someone needs to make a reusable overlay and then I guess games would have to all support the same controls as well.

I think the odds are slim but I can still see potential there.

I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out

I also like the touchscreen, but some games can often be unresponsive, and for those games I wouldn't mind having some sort of button or joystick. I also have fat fingers lol, so they block the screen sometimes. Do you happen to know if there are any other peripherals coming for gaming? Like a controller or something.

The only other control peripheral I know of is the "iControlPad". I don't think it's available yet, but you can check their website for any updates: http://icontrolpad.com/

3.0 and the ability to use peripherals in 3rd party applications was introduced over a year ago, and yet no one has released a controller shell yet. What are they waiting for?
