FMX Riders was designed around Tilt to turn and Auto-acceleration controls from the start.
They are the default and recommended control settings. You can however activate touch-to-turn and manual acceleration in the settings menu, but we strongly recommend giving the default controls a try. In any case you can adjust the sensitivity of your turning in the control settings.

Tricks are hard to pull off!
You should only launch tricks on the bigger jumps to make sure you can land them without crashing. Flips and especially spins are much safer on the medium and small jumps.

The 3 Categories provide progressive difficulty.
In 125cc, jumps and tricks are easier to land, whereas in 450cc you will have to complete your spins/flips/tricks before landing if you don't want to crash.

Hey, thanks!

No lite version for now.
Unfortunately we already used all the promo codes for the press for this release.
We will have a contest when the first update is released (which will be very soon).

Indeed, it should be available worldwide now!

There will be a universal update sometime in the future. (Still working out what the best control scheme for the iPad will be).

Game Impressions

Well, this is a disappointment. All the options, modes, and bells and whistles in the world are for nought if you can't get the racing right.

The problem is, the bikes have no inertia. They absolutely do not react to the terrain in any remotely convincing manner. Down to the idiocy of having water in a level only for the bike to sail straight through it without so much as slowing down the tiniest bit. It's almost as if, the bikes aren't really riding on solid ground...and actually, they aren't. In fact, it occurred to me after a few minutes of play that the bike and my rider may as well not even be in the game at all, for any difference it makes to the gameplay: take them away and overlay a HUD on screen for a much more believable game of steering a speedy aircraft through various canyons. Unfortunately, that isn't what I thought I was signing up for here.
