Will You Buy Apps With In-App Purchases?

Am I the only one that thinks this is crazy! I know these developers deserve to make profit but it's crazy for someone to pay for extras in a game that were free updates before. I buy my apps and I expect to get a full experience. Not some half-baked game that I have to buy weapons for to make it fun! Sorry if I'm a little crazy, I just think this is ridiculous!

Sorry about putting it in a random category, I'm new I didn't figure out how to do that yet

Why don't you wait until the update actually comes out. Then we can all re-evaluate the situation.

No, I won't. I hate the idea.

You should make a poll.

Welcome to the forums, but could you please post this in one of the other threads that pertain to the same topic? Thanks

I most certainly will! It's crazy that we expect the dev to keep churning out content for free. You get to choose what DLC you pay for and what DLC you don't, and also which apps to buy. I'm 100000% behind this.

The In-app Commerce implementaton in LiveFire is still being designed, so nothing we showed was final. But we were able to demonstrate that the feature works. The design direction is to allow players to earn credits within the game that can be used to redeem upgrades in the form of new weapons, armor and other gear to modify their capabilities in combat. The more you play and the greater your skill, the more credits you will earn relative to players who rarely play ó not unlike an EXP system. So itís fair to assume that dedicated players will have some pretty awesome gear earned during the course of playing.

So there. Only for demo purposes, and a really cool article.

I will definitely be buying apps after the 3.0 update. If it is a quality purchase and my style, I will buy it. Simple.

But don't you also think they will abuse this new policy by putting in a basic configuration and then to make it an enjoyable experience you will have to buy extras.

God I hate the cheap people on the forums who only go for the free stuff. I don't want to sound mean..... but.... yeah.

It's pretty annoying.

I don't mean to sound cheap. 80% of my apps are paid for. I'm just upset about this change. Sorry if I came off that way.
