You're looking at the compressed file size. Uncompressed it is 1.23 GB.

No, the last update was also around 1.2GB to download off the app store.
Maybe the last version wasn't very well compressed?

I still have the 1.1.1 version sitting on my hard drive, and it's clearly 576.5 MB.
The new 1.2.0 version available now shows 596 MB.

Been playing on the new iPad since day 1. No crashes or slowdown and it looks great.

Is anyone else having problems staying connected in GC multiplayer? Me and my buddy are arely able to get past turn 1 (and never past turn 3). We've tried wifi and cellular, and I've tried iPhone and iPad on my end

For the $1.99 sale price, this seems like a bargain, so I jumped on it. The game looks and plays great on my iPad 3, despite what some of the more recent reviews say in the US App Store. Those fricken hint arrows during battle are really annoying though and the related settings in the Options does not seem to have any effect.
