Three Little Pigs (with xRay!) - Coming Soon

I'm excited to share with you a sneak preview of my new interactive book for kids designed for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch coming soon to an App Store near you - The Three Little Pigs and the Secrets of a Popup Book.

The book features:

29 colorful pages, most of which are fully interactive
x-Ray goggles that let you see the inner workings of mechanical pages
Beautiful, digitally re-mastered original illustrations by L. Leslie Brooke
Whimsical sound track with colorful sound effects
Full support for all iPad, iPod, and iPhone devices, including retina displays
Silky smooth animations running at constant 60 frames per second

Based on the feedback I received so far, the book is bound to entertain and inspire kids of various ages. Enjoy some of the screen shots below. More to come soon!

The app will retail for $6.99 (or its equivalent). I will likely have a couple of promo codes to give away. Keep your eyes peeled through out next week.

Also, the first review is in! I have no idea what it says, but it's exciting nonetheless...

I'm glad you like it! The trailer was a three-day effort, so it wasn't too bad.

I don't actually own a video camera, but I did purchase the new iPod Touch a couple of weeks ago to test the app on retina display and that little device comes with an HD camera built in. So I used it for the shoot.

My biggest challenge was strapping the iPod to a tripod and suspending it at just the right angle above the table. However, a few rubber bands and some pieces of velcro later, I was rolling.
