It is still being modified, I cannot d/l it yet.
Expectations are way too high for a game that is 99 cents. Many games are playable as it is, even if the developers do not bother to give us a single update, for 99 cents, no one should be complaining.

My God, what has happened to Real Racing 2 on iPhone 4 since iOS 5?!
Even in the menu, the frame rate of your car driving toward the screen is choppy.
The frame rate in races is noticeably lower than it was on iOS 4.
Hope this can be fixed with an update, because that's now Infinity Blade, FIFA 12, and Real Racing 2 (three of my favourite games) that suffer under iOS 5.
Hope Apple hasn't bottlenecked the 4 on iOS 5 so that the 4S looks far better than it already does for games.
Edit: Just noticed people talking about the last update. I think I'll dig out my pre-updated copy of Real Racing 2, because adding 4S visuals to the package has killed performance on iPhone 4.

Without digging hard through all 152 pages of posts, are there any tips or tricks on mastering the sim racing aspects of this? I'm not usually a fan of sim racers, but ever since buying RR2 months ago, I've grown to love them. My problem is, I'm bad at them.
I'm playing on easy and winning every race, woo...But there's no real feel of "skill" there. :P Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Real Racing 2 has become worse and worse with most updates performance and craftiness-wise. It used to be silk smooth when racing on my iPhone 4, but now it stutters badly during replay (and not just the dynamic camera, but all cameras).
Cars also move differently when we're selecting them and it's not for the better.
It was a 9.5/10 game for me until around February, then it started going downhill and now it's just an alright game. Feels bloated, sluggish and nowhere as sleek as before. Firemint doesn't put the heart in this anymore.

framerate is awful on iphone4 now and I dont really see those improvments in graphics either after last updates.I think it made it worse.must be electronic arts or apple way of bullshiting people "its much better now" when its not.
on iphone4s framerate its very good though but battery goes down faster.
ps:"Firemint doesn't put the heart in this anymore"its electronics arts now maybe thats why.

We've boosted the framerate back up to what it should be for the iPhone 4, see
here for details. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey Firemint Sam -
Two things please.
The -here- link in your post didn't successfully link to anything - I got an 'invalid link' message.
Try this?
http://forums.firemint.com/showthrea....12.01-updates
And I read to access the update, we just launch the game while connected to WiFi and the update is downloaded directly. So no update submitted to Apple for this - nice!!!
I've had RR and RR2 on my phone since each launched and love 'em. Would love to see smoother performance
