iFighter Lite (Free)

I am on my iPod atm, so I can't provide a link to this game. It seems like the lite version was just released but there is no full version yet.

I had a quick go and it looks very polished, the menu and graphics are great, and the accelerometer controls are good, while the touch controls have a strange problem when the screen scrolls horizontally (play it and you'll know what I mean). You also start with only one life, and it's quite tricky because the first bullet upgrade is more of a downgrade.

Depending on the price of the full version and whether it is gonna get updates, this could be an attractive purchase.

EDIT: Just updating this post with some more information now i'm on my PC.

Quote:
iFighter is a classic 2D vertical shooter. Playing as the ace pilot of airforce in WWII, your mission is to destroy the new weapon prototypes of the Nazis! Fasten your seat belt and get ready for the intense action!

The lite version of iFighter is available now! iTunes URL of the lite version:

We are still working hard on the full version. It’s coming soon. Stay tuned!

Just took a few spins with the light version. And I really like it, it does feel pretty well polished game sort of like hmm think the games called 1942 or something if you played that.

Theres a few tweaks I'd like to see with the tilt controls, hopefully more weapon upgrades and prob extra life or two wouldnt be bad either or health boxes along the way would be even better. ( maybe they are or there in the full version who knows )

But Im definitely interested in this game now when the full version hits.

Looks good, downloading it now.

Four most influential games: Papi Jump, iDracula, Fieldrunners, Flight Control.

This could probably be moved to upcoming games because it isn't out yet.

this would be fantastic other than the flight controls.

i like to manually move with my finger, but the increment is just too large at the mo to make it enjoyable.

It looks like a combination of Sky Thunder and Blue Skies. Hopefully the full version has upgrades.
