I am very pleased to see Gameloft seem to have woken up and started simultaneous iphone ipad releases. This had to happen sooner or later. Credit where it's due though. I will be able to buy these early for iPad now instead of having to wait sometimes months for the 99c hd price drops to double dip.

ZING!!!!!!! Real Racing 2 didn't have an HD version yet so I'll go with A6 for now. Wasn't a very big fan of A5 but I hope this one will make me throttle-happy. I hope GT Racing Academy 2 is in the works.

Current Vice: GoF2HD, Bastion, PvZ, Dead Space iPad, FFDim, FFIV, WoGoo, Solomon's Keep, Hook Champ

Heh, good catch ;-) They could *at least* have added the other screenshots from Asphalt 5 as well...

I wonder if this has the same frame rate issues in parts. I remember playing Asphalt 5, and one level while driving you go through some transparent sun beams effect thingy and it ground to a halt practicaly.

Their rep was visiting the Shadow Guardian thread. They hear the iPad owners and understand our frustration. He stated they will begin to close the release gap between iPhone and iPad.

He also mentioned Shadow Guardian began it's life as a tech demo for their new engine and applied some of that into Nova 2.

The interesting part though, was when he said, if you think Gameloft is stopping there, you'd be mistaken.

I can't wait to see what they do with games this coming year, using the engine from Shadow Guardian. That game rocks.

Definitely buying Nova 2 the second it's available.

Asphalt 5 was okay. Waiting for impressions on asphalt 6
