Yes, its a good old Raptor...

I have mixed feelings about the port though. The aircraft sits right under you finger, which covers it almost completely. I'd prefer if it (or most of it) was sitting above the touch area. I'd love for the Raptor to follow more closely behind my finger. Currently it moves a little bit too slow for my liking but its not a big deal, I can get used to it. I remember it moving faster in response to arrow keys on the keyboard but it was many years ago, so perhaps my memory is playing tricks on me.

My biggest complaint comes from store buttons (BUY, SELL, DONE, etc). They were placed over the original interface and look horrible. It would've been great if you were able to use original buttons somehow.

All the above complaints aside, its Raptor, and I love it! The game is as much fun as it was 15 years ago, so I would recommend it to the fans of the original.

Yes. Most Retro-Nostalgic games would fall into this category. I can't understand people going ga-ga over some other old pixelated games when you have new shiny hi-rez ones. Doom or Duke Nukem 3d for example. I suppose, if you develop emotional attachment to a game, you'd love it no matter what. For me such game is Raptor. I think it was my most played game apart from original Diablo.

Boy oh boy. I've played this a LOT on the pc..
This is my all-time favourite in shoot 'em ups with Star Monkey as a close second. (talking pc gaming here). It's instabuy for me.
