I have announced this game on the iPad board a week ago and gotten some great first feedback. Today v1.2 has been released, and I feel the game should have a separate iPhone thread, as it was carefully developed for both form factors at the same time.

Don't expect any brain-smashing puzzles or story twists, but all the more oldschool console gaming vibe.

For those who are too lazy to check out the other thread, this game is an absolute blast to play. I wish there were more games like this on the App Store.

Another +1. Best way to describe it is a pleasant mix of a platformer and Zelda with Plunderland-style graphics and light RPG elements.

And if you own an iPad (I know I know, the other thread for that, but still a bonus worth mentioning here as well), the split screen co-op is a lot of fun.

This game will grow on you.

Which level are you on? I noticed that this happens to a lot of people the first N times, then it gets better. And if it doesn't, would you prefer some other clever controls scheme or virtual buttons? Just for future decision-making.
