Style looks lovely. Though I've got to admit, I read the name as 'Black Rogue' and I was half expecting a Shaft-themed roguelike. And, well, the only thing that could really live up to that expectation would have been a Shaft-themed roguelike.

This looks like a rogue-like Sokoban. The style is nice.

Hi, you seemed to be lost on the Internets.
This is TouchArcade, where 2$ for a game is too much, 5$ is an outrage, and 10$ or more is putting sugar in their car tanks whilst killing puppies.

Aww, that little guy is adorable. I love his tiny upturned face.

The gameplay video reminds me of some of the dungeons in the early Zelda games, which is promising. I hope it's more than a Sokoban clone with a coat of cute.

"Who's the private rogue who's a sex machine with all the skulls and bones?"

"Rogue!"

"...Black Rogue."

I would have bought that game ten times.

Interested in hearing if this has any actual roguelike aspects to the gameplay though, aside from the randomization and the art. Loot, perhaps?

TOFTT, here's 15 minute impressions:

There's no ingame menu or anything, which means there's no instructions, no game save files, no anything. And the controls seems slightly weird; it's swipe to move, but you have to keep the swipe moving. You can't swipe left and keep your finger there to keep him moving left; you have to constantly slide your finger left.

However, even with those complaints, it's a good Sokoban-style game. Two options, Story mode and Endless mode, with randomized or standard levels for each, plus two difficulty options. There's a huge, triangular dungeon, and each time you reach the top, you start back at the bottom to make a new path. There's 25 "pages," one in each of the last rooms on top the dungeon that you're trying to collect. If you leave story mode to go to endless mode, and then want to come back to story mode, you'll start at the bottom of the dungeon again, but it remembers what rooms you explored.

For 2$, you could go a lot worse than this game. It's cute, and it's a nice little puzzler. Great graphics, cute soundtrack, and an attempt at a story as well. I recommend it, even with those complaints I made.
