Default TyTool Questions

Hey just a couple of quick questions about the tytool 2g jailbreak.

First of all, Can doing all of this in the terminal can harm my computer at all?

Next, is enabling DFU on 10.5.6 hard? Is it dangerous to my computer? Is it difficult?

If I put my ipod into DFU mode, Is there any chance ( Being the klutz that I am) that it could harm/Brick my ipod if I mess up?

Finally, If I follow all of the instructions in his jailbreak tytool video, Is it guaranteed to work? If not what is the success rate?

I would really like to jailbreak, So just wondering if you guys could help me out here. Thanks for reading and REPLY!

I believe you could get into some trouble if you really mess up in Terminal

Next, is enabling DFU on 10.5.6 hard? Is it dangerous to my computer? Is it difficult?
Do you mean putting your iPod into DFU mode?

If I put my ipod into DFU mode, Is there any chance ( Being the klutz that I am) that it could harm/Brick my ipod if I mess up?
Not really. People have had scares but they have all been able to get their iPods out of DFU mode

Finally, If I follow all of the instructions in his jailbreak tytool video, Is it guaranteed to work? If not what is the success rate?
If you follow all the instructions perfectly, I don't see why you shouldn't be able to do it

And if you're doing this on a Mac, I would suggest using Untetherizer. I used it and it worked perfectly after I followed the instructions very closely

Does it work as a jailbreak for ipod touch 2g? Is it easier than ty tool? Does it give you everything ty tool does?

This Should Help You Out

I jailbroke my iPod Touch 2G with it. It looks more complicated than it really is. Watch the video tutorial a few times, become comfortable with it, and then go through the steps, checking the video to make sure you're doing them right, and you should be good!
