Post Chronicles of Inotia 2

Hopefully this sequel actually has great graphics, proper framerate and fun.

Role-playing sequel headlines 10 title portfolio from Com2us

During a meeting with Director of US Operations Don Lim at Game Developers Conference, Com2us confirmed plans to release The Chronicles of Inotia 2 in the first half of 2009.

The role-playing sequel brings a new cast of characters and original story built specifically for iPhone. While Lim was light on details, he did mention the possibility of microtransactions for the game following a forthcoming update from Apple.

Chronicles of Inotia 2 (working title) will be joined by another, more ambitious role-playing project later this year. Lim hinted at a massively multiplayer role-playing game specific to iPhone before year's end.

Both titles are part of a 10 game line up that Com2us will launch throughout 2009. An iPhone version of mini-game fest Disney Puzzle Family, music game World of Tunes, and two baseball games - Pro Baseball 2009 and Baseball Sluggers: Homerun Race - are also on the way from the Korean publisher.

The graphics turned me off on the last one. My fingers are crossed.

I liked the first one and beat it, but way too much grinding in the game. Hopefully, the developer will provide more locations to visit and a much longer game experience overall. The first one was rather short and once you got past level 40 you could beat the game. However, it took a lot of time to get to that level as experience points aren't plentiful in the game.

I tend to play an RPG for the story and characters, the first Inotia just didn't deliver on either of these fronts as far as I'm concerned. Graphical style was nice enough but yeah I think the framerate did let it down a bit.
