Distribution after development?

So if ever you make a game and you are not a company just individual, How do you go about distributing your game with all the different game sites out there?

To name an example- Getjar?

OR do you just throw it on every game site going?

Distributing? I guess you are talking about promoting as the app store is the only distribution channel.
Sending large app sites a note about your new game is a good idea. And make some buzz here at TA in the boards. This is what I did. Fancy Factory is a one man show.

Er ignoring the last irrelevent post,

No, I mean the very large user base of these sites for sales and monetization?

I suppose you go through app store to reach all these sites?

Well... http://developer.getjar.com/ is the link to publish your app to getjar, however, I'm not certain they do sell iPhone apps...

To my knowledge, outside of the iTunes App store you cannot sell your app. There is Cydia which is for jailbroken apps though.

Any of those sites you see that do display iPhone games for sale are merely Apple iTunes affiliate sites that get their data via a RSS feed and an affiliate link.

Sorry if I misunderstood the question.

You apparently dont understand the ios platform.

The only official way to distribute apps on the iphone is via the appstore.

There is one store for all things iOS and thats it.

The reason its a sucess its because it is not fragmented into a thousand smaller joints like on any other mobile platform.

attitude

You might want to try to understand when people are talking to you instead of saying they have irrelevant post. With that tone you wont be getting much help at all in the future. Especially when asking a question that some developers might consider dumb. Please use a little tack!
