I have several bugs on my game. For example, I was playing Slug, Pillbug, and Roach in the Yard level, and I had the option to buy the same equipment that I had already bought again! So I bought two nukes for Slug to see what would happen, and I really did have two nukes, except that I had to choose one or the other. Then, the both of them would start recharging again. Also, the screen would turn a bit red, then zoom out, and freeze my character while he's being slaughtered by 5 scorpions.

Just a question but I thought that Roach, Slug, and Mosquito couldn't be poisoned. Is this a bug?

Explosive posted that only Slug and Wasp seemed to have immunity to poisoning. Check them again?

Yes, it makes some of them, like Locked and Loaded (along with my 6 hour marathon game to get it originally) a bit of silliness, but the playing field needs to remain level. Most of the achievements are still relatively unchanged.

There's that old saying about closing the barn door after the horses already got out, and that's what tweaking that aspect of Treasure Trove would be.
Either way they proceed, it makes little difference to me. Ultimately, FM should make a decision based on what they feel is the better route to pursue, and in the end, they are just virtual achievements that give me about 5 seconds of satisfaction and perhaps 1% of my friends will ever know about.

On an unrelated note, I'd like for the reinforcement heroes to show up on the leaderboards when they are used; I feel like it makes a difference as even you (FM) said that the different skills change the way you play the heroes, even if their original purpose was just to serve as alternate skins. Sorry if this already happens and I just didn't notice; I haven't had an abundance if time to play BH lately, unfortunately.

Okay, I just tested the heroes with poison again.

Fly & Wasp: Do not get slowed or take damage.

Slug & Roach: They are slowed, but immune to damage.

Mosquito: Slowed & takes damage(which is odd since he has wings).

I just had my most successful Coliseum run so far with Spider (don't ask for level and difficulty, because you will not be impressed ), and the key to it was the Wolf Spider Pistols, a piece of equipment I had previously overlooked. I protected Spider with Iron Hood and Evade, and used Executioner and/or Assassin Bomb to soften up the really big guys (with some smaller cameos from Night Hunter, Snare Web and Superior Assassin for specific situations), but I finished them off with the pistols, at a safe distance, saving me some potential HP loss from close confrontation.

The pistols were also surprisingly useful at defeating everything from Vampire bugs (the knockback keeps them away indefinitely) to large groups of ant warriors, armoured ants, weak ranged enemies, etc.

Perhaps the truly skilled can attack groups of enemies with Spider and still avoid enemy melee blows, but for the rest of us, the pistols do the job of clearing up groups of weak enemies who might still bite in close quarters, knocking away the slightly bigger, wearing down the truly big, and keeping Spider's precious HP (in short supply without a powerful healing ability) around for the truly difficult confrontations.

So, for those avoiding the pistols as they seem out of place, contraproductive and possibly redundant for Spider, try them out in the Coliseum arenas!

Actually, yeah! It was pretty interesting!

Here's my impressions of the alt heroes so far:

Bumble: 8/10 He's basically a Beetle with much less armor, but with no need for Adrenaline, because of his innate Speed skill. Granted, Shield and Warrior Gauntlet are NEEDED for Armor, and even then it's not as much armor as Beetle, and I wouldn't say he's better than the original, but he's still pretty good.

Mosquito: 9/10 Mosquito actually surprises me. When I first heard that FM was substituting Theft and Chance for Regen and Vampirism, I thought that there was no way he would be of any use. But actually, I'd say he's better than Fly in Coliseum, because of his new skills. And he's actually a lot of fun.

Roach: 9/10 He's better than Termite. I say that because, with his Armor and Lucky Shot skills, it's easier for him to actually feel like he has a use besides just a support hero (Nail Gun + Lucky Shot is AWESOME) and the fact that he doesn't have Workmanship doesn't really hinder his turret-building abilities either. I really like Roach, especially in Coliseum, he's definitely better than Termite there.

Will post more later. And is it just me or does Normal feel way harder? (Not a bad thing, IMO)

In Coliseum, you can't really afford a spot for Elephant Snail Rifle, especially since you rarely get to face large bugs without small ones all over you, and in Adventure, you would ordinarily have other heroes are more suited for taking out larger bugs, so I only find it practical while Fly is high on mushrooms.

I think it should be made such that the rifle would take out an additional percentage of the target's life (or max life). That way it'd be most suitable for larger bugs just like its name suggests.

It seems to have a fast recharge time, but I've used it a ton on the big bugs and it doesn't really seem to affect them that much. I can't even properly aim the darn thing sometimes can end up shooting a small bug by accident sometimes.

Wondering if I should just stop using it.
Yeah I've only used it once, and it just seemed pretty useless to me. I'd stop using it and use Gnat Banditos instead.

BTW: I've thought of an awesome ability/spell for Stickbug. "Summon the Finger of the Gods" and it would be like $1500 and have a long cool-down time and it would summon a human finger to squash any bug for you. Crazy, huh?

Leaderboards bug?
I just reached round 117 on easy with a score of 430565, and when I posted it it said I'm rank 419. And when I check the high scores for easy, I see that rank 48 has 427805 points (his name is KYDT)!! That place should be mine!
