pluto6's comments:
David Jones was quite active in Touch Arcade before the iPad launch with his game Sudoku Real Edition. Original thread is here.

Sudoku Real Edition is on sale for $0.99

This version however is universal, and includes local (bluetooth) head to head, 800 puzzles, and is only 1.99... I never got the first game (sort of feel guilty as I was pretty active in the thread), but am buying this version. Impressions on the App store and I know his goal was to have a Sudoku game that really feels like you are playing with paper and pencil. For you Sudoku fans - you might give this one a look. I'll probably put up some impressions in the next day or so- maybe sooner if someone is really chomping at the bit....
