Its not impossible... There are games out there on PC with split-screen, not many, but they exist.

The shadows on the ground doesn't cast by the soldier, the car, the small object though I set Option->Shadows->Yes.

I bought COD4 from Steam(for Windows) and just copied the cd-key on my Mac version and it works just fine.. I guess it won't work if I try to play both at the same time(kinda obvious).

Best out of its series. One of the most balanced games. So I would say yes.

I appreciate that it is available for Mac on apple store. It's an awesome game and i am always playing it whenever i get time from my busy schedule.
