I've been typing in the actual words "galaxy on fire" every day since I heard it was coming out in late march.

This game is really good, they hooked us up with a pre-release copy and I was really impressed with how well a space shooter works on the iPhone. It has two control modes, virtual on-screen D-pad and tilt controls. Once you get used to flying your ship (The game includes some pretty nice tutorial levels) the controls aren't an issue... But when I first started playing I found them a little tricky.

I didn't have a chance to get very far in the game because of how busy this week has been, but my initial impressions once I got used to the controls were very positive.

In the german iTunes store neither, but it's actually a german company, fishlabs, they should have released it here first

it's available here in asia for $5.99. not getting it because i'm not a fan of the genre.

I played this game a lot on my mobile, and missed it terribly when I migrated my mobile gaming to my iTouch. I'm so glad it's back.

Oh man. I´m waiting for this since I first read about it. Especially after finishing the Battlestar Galactica Series last week I´m dying for a solid space shooter.

I hope we will get it soon here in germany. Or at all. (still waiting for oregon trail)

Does anyone know if there are specific day times when new apps are released? Or is it just random?
